Meet Your Planner

Hi, I'm Susana.
I love planning events, the people they are for, and the love carried through. I also take pride in noticing details nobody else catches, from the misaligned venue and parking address to the slightly shifted guest book, the bridesmaid who needs more tissue, and timing for the dishes to be warm at reception. Before I ever called myself a planner, I was hosting all the holiday parties, pulling together a tech conference on a week's notice, and once running my friend's wedding rehearsal because their coordinator couldn't find the one song that actually mattered. It was a song the couple had performed together back in college. I found it and assigned everyone their entry in five minutes. There, I knew wedding planning is what I'm meant to do.
I went to school for Computer Science and Digital Arts, because I'm both logical and creative. After 2 years in the tech world with a double life after work hosting events and doing arts, and planning weddings for my two close friends, I finally felt ready and built Thousandfold.
I started by showing up for other wedding professionals — helping other planners on-site, shadowing florists, second shooting for photographers, serving with caterers, and learning all the parts of this job nobody puts in a course. I wanted to be able to support the couples in all aspects by understanding the industry from the inside and have the confidence to say I've experienced it all before I ever asked them to trust me with their day.
I'm a firm advocate for love and authenticity, so I will always ask one more question about what is the most important to you as a couple to find out how the day can be sprinkled with the kind of love between you two. No wedding should be the same, and I'll know it's a win for us when a guest says 'Crazy how you can just tell this is their wedding.'
I grew up in China until I was 13, then moved to the US. Asian culture taught me very early on to value family above almost everything else. And when I got here, in a country that was completely new to me, my friends became part of that family who showed up for each other while we were all figuring things out together. That's the kind of love I grew up inside of, twice over.
I promised myself to always be there with that same kind of love for my couples on this little adventure of their life. That's what Thousandfold is built on.
If this sounds like the kind of support you want in your corner,
